Pastor Dan Hyun was raised in the greater Philadelphia area and has served with churches in Philadelphia and Baltimore. In 2008, he was privileged to lead a team to start The Village Church and has recently retired from his role there.. He now works with the Baptist Convention of MD/DE to equip the larger Church to experience God’s formative presence with a vision for deeper reconciliation and mission. Pastor Dan is a husband, father, friend, and faithful servant of the Lord. 

Somer Phoebus is the Communication Director for the BCM/D, as well as the Women's Ministry Missionary. She founded a ministry called She Works His Way with a vision for a Discipleship and Equipping Community for Women who Love Jesus! Somer is an entreprenuer, pastors-wife, a mother, a friend. and a passionate follower of Christ.
